Join me and members of the Whidbey Island Bellydance Community at this fun festival. We’ll take the stage around 5:30 p.m. Event runs from 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. with vendors, live music and lots of activities.

Live music by House of Tarab with dancers like Shelly Ryan Leyden from Austin, TX, Shaunti Fera, Sumona Gomes, and Jenn Sorrell from Portland, OR, Amira, Mariana, Samarah, Nadira, Mary Beth, and me from Seattle and the one and only, Tamalyn Dallal from New Orleans! A world-wide shimmy event! Our local team covers all of Whidbey Island. Locations and times are now available for all Whidbey Island performances.

Whidbey Island Belly Dance Community members will be performing at Holland Happening at Windjammer Park in Oak Harbor - pavilion by the basketball court.

All ages, bar 21+. $10 cover (cash preferred - every penny goes to the performers), kids free.

It's whispered in the halls of FB that in the days before the curse of COVID and the chaos of Sauron, there was a time of great magic. The Mediterranean gods and goddesses danced in Country Villages and festivals. The seekers of Cues and Tattoos tell of the tents of Alauda, High Dive, Kalia, and Masala. Sanctuary was found in Emerald fields and the Blues of November. The Ottominions, and traders extraordinaire, brought us goods from the Silk Road. Nomads tell tales of Tribalfest, of companions flung far and wide. Now we sit at our lonely fires and miss the days, the dancers, the community we once knew. Hence, we invite you to join us in relighting the fires, in reuniting the goddesses and gods of dance together once more. We beseech you to pass the invitation on to all who remember the magic. 5.00 cover at the door.

A fun family bellydance event. Doors open at 6:15pm and show starts at 6:30pm. Cost is by donation.

Come down to the historic Sheridan Market for the “First Friday” of the month belly dance show, featuring Samarah and others.

Shimmy Mob is an annual "flash mob" event, creating awareness of emotional abuse and domestic violence. Join us and make a difference!

Here on Whidbey Island, we make a day of it! We start in Clinton and hit every town until we reach Oak Harbor! We start at the top of the hour in each location, starting at noon in Clinton, then Langley, Freeland, Greenbank, Coupeville, and Oak Harbor.

Come for the belly dancing, stay for more entertainment.
